Amenazas, intimidación y privación de cariño traen consecuencias similares a las de la tortura corporal, afirman estudios. No sólo en adultos en regiones en crisis, sino también en niños de países desarrollados.
El estudio fue realizado por el psicólogo Metin Basoglu , de la Universidad de Londres, en base a entrevistas con 270 víctimas de tortura y violencia de la guerra civil de la ex Yugoslavia. Sus resultados causan estupor entre los expertos, ya que demuestran que la tortura psicológica aplicada a prisioneros provoca los mismos resultados que el abuso físico. Los entrevistados, víctimas de manipulación, humillaciones y extremo estrés psicológico, sufrían aún muchos años después las mismas consecuencias que quienes son sometidos a torturas corporales.
No hay castigos sin consecuencias
Hasta las formas de sometimiento supuestamente más inofensivas, como la celda de aislamiento, deberían ser juzgadas del mismo modo que la tortura física. Esto es lo que informarn Basoglu y sus colegas en la revista especializada “Archives of General Pschychiatry”. También el profesor estadounidense Steven Miles, de la Universidad de Minnesota, comenta que “diferenciar entre tortura y matrato no sólo es un sinsentido, sino que además es muy peligroso”.
Los investigadores no hallaron ninguna diferencia fundamental entre la tortura física y la psicológica. Tanto la segregación como las amenazas dejan huellas similares en tanto menoscaban el bienestar del individuo, provocando daños aún mucho tiempo después de haber sucedido.
Las víctimas sufren durante años de los llamados “síndromes postraumáticos”, que consisten en pesadillas y disturbios del sueño, recuerdos vívidos y ataques de pánico. También el dolor físico y la pérdida de conciencia son parte del cuadro. Dichos descubrimientos ponen en tela de juicio los argumentos de quienes consideran que la tortura psicológica es un método inocuo a utilizarse en interrogatorios en la lucha contra el terrorismo.
Los niños, víctimas indefensas
Un aspecto relevante del estudio es que las consecuencias de la tortura psíquica en adultos de zonas en guerra son las mismas que sufren los niños de países desarrollados sometidos a la privación del entorno familiar. Este maltrato, llamado deprivación, es otra clase de abuso infantil, ya que, según Basoglu, los mecanismos psicológicos que producen traumas en personas maduras serían los mismos en los niños.
“El estudio de Basoglu puede aplicarse perfectamente a los niños”, sostiene Ernst Pfeiffer, del Centro Psiquiátrico Infantojuvenil de la Clínica Charité de Berlín, sitado en un artículo del semanal germano Der Spiegel. Según el científico, se han realizado varios estudios que lo confirman. Las secuelas del maltrato por deprivación consisten en un 20 a un 50 por ciento de los niños en daños cognitivos y psicológicos a largo plazo.
Secuelas trágicas para el crecimiento
Un grupo de estudio de la Universidad de Nueva York, junto con sus colegas británicos, observaron el desarrollo de infantes que crecieron en orfanatos de Rumania durante la dictadura de Ceausescu. A pesar de que fueron adoptados por familias del oeste europeo, seguían presentando síntomas luego de más de siete años de estar integrados en un ambiente de convivencia armónica.
El trauma les había provocado retrasos graves en su desarrollo intelectual. En comparación con chicos que crecieron en hogares sanos, su cociente intelectual era 15 puntos más bajo. Los resultados fueron publicados en mayo de 2006 en la revista “Child Development”, y las víctimas del estrés de los hogares infantiles eran niños entre 6 y 42 meses.
Críticas y amenazas también son tortura
La falta de amor y conductas sanas por parte de los padres pueden ser devastadoras. Desde el punto de vista de la psicología infantil y las ciencias sociales, la tortura psicológica y emocional es un tema que aún no ha sido lo suficientemente investigado. Heinz Kindler, del Instituto Alemán de la Juventud (DJI), afirma que “se sabe muy poco acerca de las consecuencias del maltrato psicológico en niños”.
Muy pocos padres son concientes de que están abusando psíquica y emocionalmente de sus hijos. Empezando por las amenazas verbales e intimidación, siguiendo por la crítica permanente e irreflexiva y el rechazo de sus hijos, todas estas conductas son abusivas. También la preferencia por uno de los hijos ante el resto “pone en peligro el desarrollo psíquico y emocional sano de la criatura”, afirma la página web del DJI.
El maltrato abusivo en los niños no sólo provoca desventajas en el crecimiento individual, sino que deriva en enormes costos socioeconómicos. Desde la internación y tratamiento psiquiátrico hasta la entrada a la cárcel juvenil, todo es posible para quienes comienzan a vivir siendo víctimas de tortura psicológica. Y eso, dice Pfeiffer, “le cuesta muchísimo dinero a la sociedad”.

Bueno, la verdad es que este es un tema de bastante interes, algo que se presenta de varias formas y en todo tipo de sociedad.
Pues, yo quisiera saber mas sobre todo esto empaparme realmente de estas situaciones que se presentan en el diario vivir y asi poder colaborar a otras personas dentro de mi sociedad y hacer mas investigaciones como lo he estado haciendo hasta ahora, pero considero que no tengo lo suficiente.

Los insultos y desprecios no solo quitan el sueño y el hambre los insultos arrasan la mente destrozan a la persona y la mutilan, el dolor de una bofetada solo dura unos días, pero el dolor de las palabras es eterno.

yo hace siete meses que tuve una relacion con un maltratador psicologico y hasta ahora a raiz de leer estas cosas me di cuenta de lo que estaba aguantando,aun no concilio bien el sueño y tengo ataques de ansiedad,lo veo por todas partes,todo me recuerda a el,y tengo tambien dependencia emocional,aun pienso en que hará ahora,como estará,y que yo tuve la culpa de todo,y que nunca voy a encontrar a nadie que me quiera por que el me lo repetia una y otra vez,y que se van a reir de mi como el lo hizo,eso me decía.tan solo le pido a todas las personas,hombre o mujer que al mas minimo indicio de malos tratos corten cuanto antes,a mas tiempo,mayor daño,mas secuelas,gracias a todos por leer mi relato.

Hola a todos.Acabo de leer los comentarios que habeis dejado y me gustaría aportar mi granito de arena sobre este tema.Hace tres años que consegui dejar una relación de cuatro años de maltrato psicológico.Lo típico:humillaciones, chantaje emocional, amenazas, insultos..etc etc.Cuatro años de mi vida anulada por culpa de esto,pensando que no valía nada, dependiendo emocionalmente de un monstruo cruel.Conseguí dejarlo gracias a que ya no me importaba nada y me libré de esas ataduras emocionales.Yo tuve pesadillas durante seis meses o así y conseguí superarlo.Me recuperé de ciertos miedos, me echaba a temblar si se me acercaba algún chico.Con respecto a lo que dice Susana, esos comentarios también los recibía yo y también me hacian dudar si serían verdad o no.Pues son mentira.Una gran mentira.todas y todos nos merecemos encontrar a alguien que realmente nos respete y nos valore.Son ellos los enfermos, los que dicen todo ese tipo de sandeces e incongruencias.Susana, no encontraras a una persona que se ría de ti, sino que te haga reír y sonreir de felicidad.Creeme.TE LO MERECES.y gracias a ti or contar tu experiencia y por hacerme sentirme identificada y comprendida.Porque en realidad es algo que nos falta, comprensión, algo más de empatía y paciencia.Porque las secuelas son difíciles de dejar atrás.
Yo ahora tengo una vida plena, he conseguido muchas cosas y entre ellas una ha sido que he conocido a una persona que no tiene nada que ver con ese personaje con el que estaba.Espero que esto sirva para que mas de una chica o chico piensen sobre esto y abran los ojos.
Mucho animo a todos y un abrazo enorme…Porque el cariño siempre es muy importante.

Hola a todos! Yo también viví una situación similar de maltrato psicológico a mi y a mi hijo.Pude dejar la relación a tiempo, cuando el maltrato también se convirtió en físico respecto a mi hijo. Comprendo totalmente el sentimiento de indefensión y de sentirse todo el tiempo con un nudo en el estómgao sabiendo que todo que todo lo que se haga se hará mal para él. Son personas enfermas con mucha inseguridad pero capaces de destrozar totalmente a otras. En fin, me alegro de poder contar en pasado lo que viví y ánimo a todo/as!! Por cierto, lo denuncié pero al ser sólo maltrato psicológico respecto a mi se archivó por falta de pruebas; la denuncia de mi hijo sigue adelante.

buenas, os dejo aqui mi comentario mas bien lo que siente y lo que he vivido sobre ese tema el maltrato psicologico, ya que en esa sociedad en que vivimos no les da tan importancia a la hora de juzgar tal como se merece, y para mi sin lugar a duda todos aquellos que hicieron mal,acusando, insultando, amenazando, prohibiendote tu libertad… deben pagar por ello.
despues de leer los comentarios veo que la mayoria de las personas en los se inditifican com
victimas de mal trato son mujeres debido al machismo que hay, pero hablando de maltrato psicologico tambien ese cosa de hombre y sobre todo menores que en el futuro seran hombre y tomaran decision, que en ese caso me inditifico en el, siendo un menor que lleva su vida maltratado y sin saberlo ya que es cosa de dia a dia que lo tienes que vivirla tal como es, sin poder decir no, viendo el futuro de color negro, consecuencia de ese maltrato que cada vez se hace mas fuerte, sin recibir ningun tipo de ayuda ya que los mas cercano dan la espalda, y luego vaya de gente con dom y encima los que tiene la obligacion de ayudarte hacen la vista gorda ya que la pobre no quiere meterse en problema me refiero a(trabajodres sociales tipo de mi despatxo no salgo) para eso hay que tener valor.

soy Ana y quiero volver a dejar un comentario al leer los vuestros. En primer lugar seguir animando a la gente que sufre maltrato psicológico en general y por otro lado, me ha llegado al corazón el comentario de Omar.Soy profesora de secundaria y trabajo todos los dias con gente joven cuyas situaciones familiares son muy diversas y me parece una aberración que los menores sufran este tipo de situaciones porque son cosas que marcan el resto de su vida y su personalidad.Omar, lo único que te digo es que no te rindas y que sigas adelante porque lo bueno es que tarde o temprano saldrás de esta y todo pasará.El que la sigue la consigue.Y yo no sé mucho del tema porque, como tú bien dices,lo llevan más bien los trabajadores sociales, pero insiste si es grave, denuncialo y no te acobardes por el miedo. Si te sientes escuchado, comprendido, por lo menos que sepas que desde aquí se te apoya.

aqui lo mas importante que la gente aporta algo en esa tema, y de paso sin saberlo ayudar a los demas, como lee arriba yo ya no soy menor lo que hace que todo lo que paso lo lleva el viento, teniendo en cuenta que no es posible demostrar nada ya que son hechos, palabras, sentimientos, y hablando de los trabajadores sociales, me referia que no hacen lo que deben hacer (nada),y me atrevia a decir que son ellos mismos que quieren dar el asunto por zanjado, increible pero cierto, ademas que no llevan mi caso, si por llega a ser caso.

hola me llamo laura estoy muy confundida, no sé si soy maltratadora o maltratada, estoy intermitentemente con un chico el es mas joven que yo,nos insultamos y nos decimos de todo, eso ahora,estoy super agresiva , deprimida,no salgo de casa engordé mucho,no soy yo… me lie con el porque tenía una necesidad terrible de cariño,mi ex me dejó por otra embarazada y perdí mi bebé.. fué terrible..entonces apareció el , amigo ,siempre ahí, le explique que no estaba preparada para una relación, el siguió, me hackeo el mail, e investigó mi teléfono, me dice mentirosa cientos de veces al día, un día me levantó la mano, pero yo me siento mal..yo le grito, y le digo cosas horribles..no sé que está pasando el dice que yo le maltrato psicologicamente , que soy un vampiro , una manipuladora, cuando mejor estamos monta una bronca increible,me niega un abrazo,yo lloro, me dice que si ya me cansé de hacerme la víctima ,se va, me abandona, luego vuelvo, no sé porque yo le dejo..primero bien , luego vulta a empezar..estoy deprimida no sé que me pasa , no sé salir de esto , por favor alguien puede ayudarme,no sé a quien contarle nada, alguna vez hablé con amigas , el me dice que ya le estoy difamando , mintiendo sobre e´l ,contando solo una parte de la verdad, que todos lo miran mal por mi culpa,cuando me pegó, dijo que fue un accidente, yo apenas tenía daño físico, me dijo que lo hacía expresamente para denunciarlo,pero yo no lo denuncié, dijo que me pegó porque yo le tiré del pelo,pero yo le tiré del pelo para que dejara de morderme, me hacía daño,intenté apartarlo,,creo que me estoy volviendo loca, quien es la víctima , y si soy un monstruo y debido a la otra relación le estoy maltratando…no sé ..solo veo una realidad confusa, no sé como salir ..le necesito..y al mismo tiempo se que no puedo vivir mucho tiempo mas así.. por eso al leer este foro, quizá alguien me pueda ayudar….tengo esa esperanza…grácias a todas y todos…

En España, en las carceles y centros de internamiento de extranjeros, las torturas tanto fisicas como psicologicas estan comprobadas y cientos o miles de denuncias acumuladas , el estado sigue diciendo que no asumira ninguna acusacion de tortura negando su existencia.
A quien le importa que se torture?, porque creen que existe ETA o existio GRAPPO?, porque el estado emplea la violencia y solo comprende la violencia, la violencia lo hizo salir de Iraq,no las protestas pacificas que fueron brutalmente reprimidas, la misma que lo hara salir algun dia de euskadi,porque legalmente no se puede denunciar nada,ni en los medios que son complices del terrorismo de estado.
Cuando nos escuchen lo que tenemos que decir pacificamente nadie tendra que usar la violencia.

hola mi nombre es german, fui victima de manipulacion y agrecion, fisica psicologica, por parte de mi madre, solo por ocultar una verdad, yo soy el segundo hijo de tres hermanos varones, y soy el hijo de un amigo de la familia, soy diferente, soy alto, rubio y de ojos color turquesa, ojos muy diferentes a todos, solo los tenia una per5sona estos ojos dentro de lo que fue el barrio, hoy a los 33 años, descubro la verdad, erede los ojos de mi abuela, LA VERDAD LA ENCONTRE EN LAS FOTOS VIEJAS, que ocultaba mi abuela materna… hoy tengo una familia, y sufro secuelas todabia, de ese maltrato. pero es dificil salir, NO imposible, por que la verdad es gratis. gracias pero descubrir mi identidad, fue lo mejor que me paso en la vida, soy YO unico inrremplazable, las mentiras tiene patas cortas, la manipulacion es larga, solo 33 años, me costo, pagar el costro de una mentira, hay dos peliculas que me habrieron la cabeza, the truman show y la vida de los otros. saludos

Ya han pasado casi 4 meses de mi último intento jurídico frustrado de ver a mi hija Ignacia después de 9 años, se que parece extraño que un padre no pueda ver a su hija en un lapso de tiempo tan prolongado, es decir ni siquiera la conozco, lo que sí creo peor, es que Ignacia no conozca a su padre. Jamás podría expresar con palabras lo que siento, y es que lo que siento no pasa por mi emocionalidad que a veces se torna insostenible de melancolía y pena, sino por lo que ignacita debe sentir. debe ser dramático para un niño tener la certeza que su progenitor es un monstruo,pero lo que si debe ser lapidario para un ser humano es descubrir que su padre siempre la amo y que no era tal y que le mintieron toda la vida.
ese es mi problema, científicamente esto se llama SINDROME DE ALIENACION PARENTAL SAP.Y CONSISTE EN PROGRAMAR A UN HIJO EN CONTRA DE SU PROGENITOR SIN EXISTIR JUSTIFICACION ALGUNA. Es decir el hecho de programar a un hijo con odio no tiene justificación alguna, por que los odios, si es que existen son personales jamás deben ser transferibles, menos a los niños.
a) La inhabilidad que la madre CLAUDIA ANDREA VIVALDI SACCO (abogado, asistente social, mediadora de familia, empresaria) junto a las tres la mejores abogados de familia de la plaza arguyan para no permitir ver a mi hija y vincularnos, era mi SUPUESTO problema de drogadicción, pues bien, solicitaron al tribunal los siguientes exámenes: Pericia toxicológica (examen de orina y pelo)
b) Pericia Psiquiátrica, que de cuenta de estructura de personalidad y de las adicciones que pudiere tener don JORGE SALAS MOYA a realizar por el perito don Mario Uribe Rivera, médico siquiatra,
c) Pericia otorrinolaringológica, A realizar por el doctor GABRIEL FABA CARNILO médico cirujano, ubicado en el hospital Clínico de la U. Católica San Carlos de Apoquindo, a fin de determinar el estado de la fosa y mucosa nasal producto del consumo de cocaína a determinar mediante exámenes:
• Rinoscopia anterior.
• Endoscopia nasal rígida y flexible.
• Exámenes radiológicos de cavidades peri nasales.
• Rinomanometria.
d) Peritaje Neurólogico, a efectuarse por el DR. ISMAEL MENA, domiciliado en Clinica Las Condes que a través de un spec cerebral y resonancia magnética de cerebro con volumetría, de cuenta del daño ocasionado por el consumo de cocaína cuantitativamente y examen sobre adicción a realizarse por el mismo medico.
TODOS MIS EXAMENES SALIERON NEGATIVOS, ¿Cuánto DINERO HABRA COSTADO ESTO? Todos estos exámenes los pago la señora CLAUDIA ANDREA VIVALDI SACCO “TODO LO QUE SE PUDE COMPRAR CON DINERO PARA ELLA ES MUY BARATO”
En la medida que iban apareciendo los resultados, yo nos los podía ver, “como eran favorables a mí ,curiosamente no llegaban al tribunal”, en un momento sentí que me acercaba a ignacita, hasta que aparecieron los informes psicológicos .quiero advertir que los tribunales de familia trabajan con varios centros de EVALUACION integral y consejeros técnicos interinos del tribunal, la consejera técnica en mi caso se saludaba con la señora claudia como grandes amigas el psicólogo un mozalbete de pelo largo que cuando tuvo que dar declaración de su diagnostico se corto el pelo, al salir de la audiencia conversaba y le entregaba opiniones y conclusiones al hermano y al padre de la señora Vivaldi además traían a un psiquiatra y a una psicóloga infantil contratados por ellos.
Finalmente la conclusión de estos honorables científicos pensadores, fue que como no existía vinculo alguno entre mi hija y yo no era conveniente restablecerlo porque la señora Vivaldi era un excelente madre y una blanca paloma. Ja.
La jueza anecdóticamente fue la misma que me rechazo mis 2 demandas de visitas después que ella misma me mando a la mediación y cuando esta se frustro me mando a buscar más antecedentes a la mediación.
ESTO SI ES MOUSTROSO señores ya que EN LOS TRIBUNALES DE FAMILIA no se toma en consideración el maltrato y la violencia que significa el SAP en los hijos , eso es lo que verdaderamente hay que regular, aquel padre o madre que aliena constantemente a su hijo en contra del otro progenitor, está provocando un daño psicológico irreparable y de por vida en un menor, hasta cuando con el interés superior del niño, como va a ser tan ciego el legislador que no logra percibir todos los estudios científicos que existen en la actualidad. Este no es un tema jurídico señores, este es un tema de AMOR.

Mi esposa me desautoriza delante de mis hijos, y me califica de travest, por que deje de usar pantalones. El pantalon es lo mas incomodo que pueda usar un varon, pero como NO le sale una ampolla, a la gente le parece que no hay problema; el pantalon esta afectando la salud de los varones, (la impotencia, la esterilidad, los problemas de prostata, y otros mas ), pueden estar intimamente relacionados con el uso del boxer, la correa o cinturo, y el tiro del pantalon. Pero en lo que a mi concierne, nunca quisiera volver a usar un pantalon, es una prenda ecxibixionista, poco saludable, y muy incomodo. Las faldas,, y los vestidos que yo uso no son de mujer; son al estilo de los sacerdotes, o de los de escosia. Mis faldas nollevan recogidos, boleritos, ni encajes, o adornos tipicamente femeninos. Son faldas muy sencillas, y abajo de la rodilla.
Ella me dice que los estoy abusando y maltratando con mi manera de vestir, cuando me parece que es al contrario. Pues como no soy el actor ,o el cantante, o el personaje de la farandula que sale en falda, esta mal visto; pero si fuera alguno de la farandula, eso si seria muy digno de admirar, aun sin ninguna justificasion, como es mi caso, donde priman la salud, el respeto y la comodidad
